Hello from the Activity Department!
The summer months have flown by and the first day of Autumn will be here before we know it! During the month of September, we will be celebrating Labor Day with “Name That Job Tune” and an intellectual job game, creating goodie bags to thank our staff during Environmental Services and Housekeeping Week, National Bowling Day, Country Music, Day, Grandparents Day, and the first day of Fall. Be sure to thank our housekeeping staff for all they do to keep our facility safe and clean!
On Sunday September 13th, we would love for family and friends to join us in celebrating all the wonderful Grandparents! Want to visit with your loved one? Give me a call at 319-377-8296 or email at Lblekeberg@winslowhousecarecenter.com to set up a time to video chat or do a window visit. Who doesn’t love getting mail?! Drop off or mail in a card or a thoughtful gift for your grandparent on September 13th and it will be delivered to your loved one! We look forward to keeping everyone connected, despite the visitation restrictions as we all continue to share the love, not the germs.
