Welcome Fall!

Even though all activities are still led on a 1:1 and/or self-directed basis, during the month of October we will be doing lots of fun crafts, games, and socials to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, National Food Service Week, World Smile Day, Pastoral Appreciation Week, and Halloween. It is also Boss’s Day on October 16th, so if you see our Administrator, Dallas, be sure to give her a big thanks for everything she does for us!

Due to the on-going pandemic, we will not be having our annual Halloween community trick-or-treating. Despite this, we have a fun-filled week planned with fall festival programs. During the last week of the month, you can look forward to a festive photo shoot, decorating pumpkins, making caramel apples, baking mummy “pigs in a blanket”, watching a Halloween movie, playing “WITCH” bingo, and ending the month with a Halloween party including fun activities, snacks, and refreshments.

As always, give us a call or stop by to stay connected with your loved one through window visits, video chats, and phone calls as well as sending them mail or going to HappyGram.org. There are time slots available for “connecting with families” on October 7th and 21st in the evenings.
