Happy May from the Activity Department!

Throughout the month of May, we will be celebrating Mother’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, National Skilled Nursing Care Week, and Memorial Day. We have many fun games planned including “Roll A Garden” dice game, Bird Bingo and AMIGO Bingo. As well as muffins on Mother’s Day, a cooking demonstration with Chef Kevin, and a few spring crafts. To kick off Nursing Home week we will enjoy treats from Dairy Queen, listen to live music, get our hands dirty in the soil gardening, play a few outdoor games during our tailgate party, and finishing the week with staff and residents playing Bingo together! I am excited to announce we are having a local BBQ expert, Willie Ray, join us for the tailgate party where he will be bringing his delicious food to share with us! Lastly, it comes with great delight I can share the good news: we are FINALLY able to have musicians and volunteers back in our building!! You will be seeing a few of these programs incorporated on our May calendar of activities which can always be found on our Facebook page or website under the Activities & News tab.
