Happy March from the Activity Department!
We have a lot to celebrate this month; Employee Appreciation Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Make Up Your Own Holiday day, and the first day of spring. Throughout the month we will be playing games based around St. Patrick’s Day, such as Lucky Charm Dominoes, St. Patty’s Day Rhyme Time, fun trivia, and Roll a Rainbow. We will also be making shamrock sun catchers and baking mint chocolate chip cookies! To show appreciation for our awesome staff team, we will be making fun goodie bags to share on March 6th for Employee Appreciation Day. To celebrate the start of spring, we will be having a spring fling happy hour, and don’t forget to wear green on March 17th for St. Patrick’s Day!
The first day of spring is on March 19th. With spring just around the corner, now is a perfect time for residents to go through their closets and box away or get rid of winter clothing or other items not needed during the spring and summer months. Space is limited and remember; all belongings need to be at or below the red mark in each closet to avoid any fire hazards. Let the spring cleaning commence!
