Welcome Blair Boynton, Administrator
Blair has worked at Winslow House since January, 2019. Blair was born in Minnesota and currently resides in Waterloo. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Long Term Care Administration. Blair has 4 years of experience working as an administrator in long term care. In her free time Blair enjoys spending time outside, gardening, kayaking, and being with her cat, Lola.
Welcome Kiana Mccune, Dietary Supervisor and
Destiny Chambers, Recreation Program Director
Destiny has worked at Winslow House for over 2 year with many different job titles. She has worked as the dietary aid, CNA, shower aid, activities assistant, and now in her newest role as activity director. Destiny enjoys party planning and has a passion for makeup. She was lives in Marion with her boyfriend, Conor of 3.5 years. Destiny is very family oriented and is the oldest of 5 siblings.
Kiana has worked at Winslow since October of 2018. She started off as a cook and moved her way up to the dietary supervisor. She has 3 children, Keonte age 14, Michael age 12, and is expecting a baby girl on September 24th. Kiana loves to travel and enjoys reading poetry books in her leisure time.
Welcome Gina Wendel, Director of Nursing. Gina is our newest member of the Winslow family. Gina and her husband Steven have three girls, Laura Ann, Bri Anne, and Angela and 4 grandchildren. She lives in Cedar Rapids and has been a nurse for 32 years. In her spare time she enjoys camping and antiquing.
Welcome Elisha Lathrop, Administrative Assistant
Elisha has worked at Winslow House for 7 years. She has worked as a dietary aid, activity director, dietary supervisor, and now her newest role as the administrative assistant. Elisha and her husband, Luke, have 3 kids Rose age 14, Colton age 12, and Brooklyn age 10. Her favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys. She enjoys watching her kids softball and volleyball games and camping with the family.
