Happy February from the Activity Department!

This month we will celebrate Valentine’s Day playing CUPID Bingo, name that “heart” tune game, Valentine’s themed Family Feud, and creating floral Valentine’s door décor. We are also going to vote for a King and Queen! Staff and residents will be able to cast their vote throughout the week of the 7^th and the winners will be crowned during a Valentine’s Day happy hour party!

Be sure to tune in to the Super Bowl on Sunday February 13^th at 5:30pm on channel NBC. It is also the year of Winter Olympics, held in Beijing from February 4^th – February 20^th. We will play an Olympics Full House card game, and feel free to request a schedule of events!

February is National Heart Month. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. Staff and residents, join in raising awareness of cardiovascular disease by wearing red on Friday, February 11^th.
