Activities in Action
Happy December from the Activity Department!
To celebrate the holidays this month we will be making snowmen ornaments, Christmas tree suncatchers, personalizing keepsake/jewelry boxes, decorating sugar cookies, and baking holiday haystack cookies. We also will play snowball toss and reindeer target practice games! We are looking forward to listening to holiday music throughout the month with a special holiday concert from two staff members on December 12th, acoustic holiday music by Elizabeth Mary on December 17th , and a visit from Santa later in the month.
Throughout December the residents will be working on a homemade collaborative cookbook. We are inviting all family, friends, and staff to send in a favorite recipe to add to our recipe book! You can mail in a copy or email your recipe to share to lblekeberg@winslowhousecarecenter.com.
