Activities in Action
Happy August from the Activity Department!
This month we are going to help prepare care packages to send to the Tandala Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo! There are a variety of projects that can be done through this organization. This is an ongoing need, so we will try to continue to help their community in the future. Let’s look forward to a purposeful project and the rewarding feeling in helping another community. We are also going to have two cooking demonstrations by our Chef Kevin on the 10th and 17th. A few other things we will be enjoying this month is National Root Beer Float Day on Friday the 6th with some delicious root beer floats, national lemonade day by making a lemonade craft while sipping on some lemonade, we will play a FAIRS Bingo, and enjoy a music performance recording of The La La Ladies gearing up towards their first appearance at Winslow in person in September!
