Happy April!

With Spring finally upon us we are looking forward to nicer weather where we will be about to go outside more often!

What a year it has been; we have all been through a lot to say the least. I am thrilled to announce Clergy is now allowed to come do church services at our building! We will continue to follow the guidelines we are given regarding COVID. With that being said, volunteers and entertainers are still not allowed in the buildings.

There are many special days to remember during the month of April, including Easter, Laundry and Linen Week, Volunteer Week, National Occupational Therapy month, Administrative Professionals Day, Hairstylist Appreciation Day, and Earth Day. We will be keeping busy with spring-themed crafts including painting cherry blossom trees, as April it is cherry blossom month.  We will also get to try our hands at a science experiment of making chromatography butterflies which will be turned into a craft by turning the finished product into a butterfly decoration. The first Friday of the month we will be having an “egg”citing egg hunt for all staff and residents (there will be prizes)! Pending all goes as planned, our local St. Joseph Catholic Church will be coming to conduct a Word and Communion on Sunday, April 25th at 9:30 AM in the dining room.

Happy Easter!!
